What is the difference between a zirconia crown and an E-Max crown?
Zirconia is extremely durable and is recommended for back teeth (molars), while E-Max offers the highest level of aesthetics (translucency) and is ideal for front teeth.
How long does a dental crown last?
With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, a high-quality crown can last between 10 and 15 years, or even longer.
Can a full-mouth implant-supported denture (All-on-4) be removed for cleaning?
All-on-4/6 systems are fixed dental restorations, cemented or screw-retained to implants, that can be cleaned with regular brushing, offering the comfort of natural teeth.
If I'm missing a tooth, which is better: a bridge or an implant?
An implant is the ideal option because it does not require grinding down healthy adjacent teeth. A bridge is a faster and more affordable solution, but it involves removing enamel from the supporting teeth.
Will people be able to tell that I have a dental crown?
E-Max, which mimics the translucency of natural teeth. The difference is practically impossible to detect with the naked eye.
What should I do if my temporary crown comes loose?
Temporary crowns are secured with a weak cement so they can be easily removed. If they come loose, you should contact us right away so we can re-cement them and protect the prepared tooth.
